If you understand stalking, you understand a subversive form of abuse that impacts millions of people. It is often a precursor to much worse. The link between stalking and physical or sexual assault is a strong one.
In this course we'll define and explore the different types of stalking, examine stalking behaviors, strategies for reducing risk, methods for intervening on behalf of someone else, as well as and provide resources for coping and for recovery.

Awesome straightforward knowledge.
The information presented in this course is essential for teen girls and their parents to know and understand BEFORE students leave for college and go out on their own. My daughter (graduating high school n 3 months) and I took the course together. The course was organized in easy to follow modules so that you don’t need a huge time commitment at one sitting. There is just the right mix of technical definitions, statistics, and real world warning signs and strategies to make this course easy to follow along with and open the door to important conversations between me and my daughter. The most important thing we got out of the course was that stalking can happen to anyone, anywhere, at any time. It does NOT occur because someone loves you “too much.” If you have a teen daughter, take this course and the other Firebrand courses to help teach her to set and enforce boundaries in her relationships at home, work, and school. You won’t regret it! Thank you for the excellent course.
As someone who has worked with survivors and victims of Domestic Violence where many of those individuals have experienced stalking this training was spot on! Marcy does a great job of providing key tips, resources and warnings when it comes to stalking.
